Cross Keys Silver Band is delighted to have received confirmation of it's promotion to the third section nationally from 2009.

Following the band's excellent results at the regional championships in Swansea over the last three years, winning twice (2007 & 2008) and finishing runners up to Llwydcoed in 2006, the reward has finally come.

Together with the promotion to the 2nd section in local contests from this year it proves that Cross Keys are a band building strong foundations to acheive it's maximum potential.

The band now intends to bow out of the 4th section in style at the national finals in Harrogate, as well as the contests in Weston Super Mare in May and hopefully Pontins and Wychaven later this year.
