What position is you did come after? I heard you play and couldn’t stay for the results! I thought personally the performance was great! I had you down as 5th as some of the other bands were not up to shape.

Hi Everyone,
Firstly, thank you all for todays performance of ‘Culloden Moor’ in Ebbw Vale! Yes, it was a little nervy, and probably not the best we’ve played, but more importantly, we competed, and I think we all forget this aspect. Special thanks go Ellis, who has been terrific in the build up to this contest, to Jess for a fantastic performance on her last contest with the band, we’re quite happy if you want to change your mind Jess! Many thanks to Les, Dean and Jan, for helping us out, we couldn’t have done it without you, we’ll always be grateful.
I won’t criticise Ian Porthouse for his adjudication, because he basically was correct in what he said, but I will say that some members need to question their commitment to the band, and more so to the friendship shown to them, and perhaps, recipricate it.
As you all know Jan and I are going away for a few days, hope to see you all Friday!

Well two weeks to Ebbw Vale, and although the test-piece is going well, we need to up our attendance now to put certain sections together. You’ve all had the chance to enjoy this weekend, so now it’s down to a bit of work! See you tomorrow!
