No we didn't play as well as we could, nor get a better result, but am I down, no, I'm elated, because we got there! Over the course of the day, I received many complimentary remarks about our playing, and our sound, but also how good it was to see Cross Keys competing again, these were really genuine comments. I would like to place on record my congratulations to Ellis for his performance, it was really excellent, I would also like to thank Steve Holland, Ian Browning, Adrian Harris and Clive Giles for coming to our aid, but again my thanks to you all. Congratulations to the winning bands, and to all those who competed, see you tonight folks, Kerry Hi Guys,

I was really impressed with your performance, it's never easy to play in front of your peers, but you all took it in you stride, and really produced the good's. There were 140 people at that dinner, the majority of whom were players, and the feedback has been tremendous! Major Burton, the Director of Music of the Band of The Royal Welch was really impressed, both with the programme and it's performance, also, Paul barber, (Denzil in 'Only Fools and Horses), who was a guest, (Nice photo Gav), made apoint of congratulating me on the bands performance. My thanks to Kelly, andy, Adrian, and Clive for your help, we really appreciate it, and you are what banding is really all about!
